The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, confident, deadline-oriented and excellence-driven. You’re equally comfortable working directly with clients as you are overseeing junior staff. Your attention to detail is second to none, and you’re always looking for ways you can improve your clients’ finances. Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Run payroll through QBO or QB Desktop, ensuring proper deductions and compliance, including issuing ROEs and T4s.
  • Prepare and deliver regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
  • Communicate with CRA agents and manage client representation for payroll, GST/HST, and corporate taxes.
  • File GST/HST returns, payroll remittances, and T4s accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to gather financial information, resolve discrepancies, and explain the bookkeeping process and its benefits.

Proactively engage with clients, offering insights and suggestions for financial improvements and managing a client portfolio effectively

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks Both online and Desktop
  • 3+ years of experience in Full Cycle bookkeeping
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize workflows, and manage multiple files efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Independent and proactive work ethic, capable of leading and mentoring team members while adhering to strict guidelines and instructions of the company
  • tech savvy, can trouble shoot without supervision
  • Troubleshooting aptitude for resolving bookkeeping tool-related issues.

 

Residency Requirement:

  • Must hold a Canadian Permanent Residency or Citizenship

Expected hours: 

  • 40 hours per week

Probation period

Zetique enforces a 6-month probation period for all new hires, during which performance is evaluated through regular assessments and feedback. Criteria include adherence to processes, work accuracy, communication skills, and overall team contribution.
